Happy In Love

I am doing my cousins wedding pictures…We went to Wheeler Farm to shoot their engagements & I really liked the variety of spots to shoot. There were green spots, the river, the country/farm look, and cool barns and cottages. Porter was super distracted by all of the animals, especially the baby goats and horse. Just a warning though, you must be careful of the geese bc they are mean! One kept ducking his head and charging right at me every time I tried to take Jessica and Porters picture. I would run up on the stairs by them to avoid his dodging beak, then the goose would turn around and walk away making a cackling sound like he thought he was pretty funny or something. Three times in a row, this happened…yeah, we moved away from the field of geese. haha.

Hero Run

My brother asked me to shoot the Hero Run he was a huge part of for 60days2fit. it included both a 5k and 10k and they had a pretty good turn out for this year being the first. All the profits went to Shriners Hospital and they even had quite a few kids that have been apart of this loving and caring hospital in Salt Lake City.

Colt Tyler Mason

I cannot believe how quickly our little family is growing. Colt was born on April 6 at 8lbs 1oz and 19 inches long. He has a full head of blonde hair and has been super alert…even with the space heater, we had a hard time getting him to sleep for our shoot. But we still got some super cute ones I am happy to share. There are quite a few with Aspen & Danny as well…

Breezy Day

I shot some photos for my cousins, one of the many families from the Jordan Clan. The night of the shoot, we were expecting a storm to move in but we thought we would be fine. It had been a pretty nice, overcast day. Little did we know how quickly that storm would arrive; as soon as we got to Murray Park, the wind began to pick up. But we were there and decided to follow through. Isn’t their family just so adorable, even when they do have wind-blown hair! (minus Steve who has none to blow…sorry cuz)

Congrats to Chelsea

Chelsea McDonald: Class of 2011

I did my friends Senior pictures this past weekend and really had a fun time doing it. I am still learning how to use my flash, so it was good to get out become more confident with it. Chelsea was a great model and we had a really good time driving all over the place. She brought a whole laundry basket full of clothes and jewelry…adorable stuff I must say! We dodged the rain pretty well until the end when we were getting her dance pictures. But it worked out great and I think we got some fun ones.

Congratulations to Chelsea and Good luck to her and her bright future:)
